A deck of 54 “quarantined” themed cards, highlighting different events and themes that have occurred since March of 2020.

It's the perfect deck for unprecedented times ... or precedented, if preferred.

My illustration style was inspired from newspaper articles and advertisements from the 1918 Spanish Flu Pandemic. I wanted to reference those illustrations from a different time when the world was experiencing similar things. Through this card deck, I hoped to shed light to some of the fun moments that occurred during this hard year.

Some Design Details

Face Cards

These cards are a tribute to the people who really got us through the beginning of quarantine--Joe Exotic & Carole Baskin from Tiger King, and John Krasinski from his Some Good News show. Where would we be without the King's crazy antics, debating if Carole Baskin killed or Husband or not, and getting a good smile or happy cry in from our bestie John? The answer is still in our respective homes, but you get the point.
And as an added bonus...they each have a personalized mask!
Number Cards

These each have an illustration that highlight some of the things that happened during our time in quarantine.
Jokers

These are, of course, a calendar because 2020 was nothing short of ~ a joke ~.
Aces

Each ace has the COVID-19 Virus in the shape of it's respective suite's pip. Need I say more.
The Box

This is probably one of my favorite parts of the whole deck. Every aspect of this custom tuck-box was designed to hold the traditional feel of a deck of cards, all while having little surprises & jokes scattered across to make you excited to get the deck open!
